I am very excited to be directing the 59th Season PCPH opening show – Anything Goes. This classic musical by Indiana’s own Cole Porter is full of fun characters and great music. In addition to the many characters, the ensemble also has a LOT to do. We last produced this fun show in 1985 with my friend Vickie Parker in the director’s chair. I am proud to follow in her footsteps to present a fabulous production.

We are doing the 1962 Off-Broadway version of the show.  The songs include “I Get a Kick Out of You”, “You’re The Top”, “Friendship”, “It’s DeLovely”, and the snappy title tune.

I plan on using tap dancing in the Act One Finale title tune and maybe another number or two – so dust off your tap shoes!  Lita Sandy will be doing our tap choreography!

If we haven’t worked together for awhile, I especially encourage you to audition. I would like to see both old friends and new faces at the auditions. We are also seeking a strong trumpet player for the orchestra and the song “Blow, Gabriel, Blow”!

We will have fun and make some great memories. Please be a part of this wonderful show.  “Let’s Step Out”!
