It is always exciting to be able to direct a show at
Putnam County Playhouse. I am especially excited by
the opportunity to direct the musical drama Man of
La Mancha. This is also a PCPH premiere!
The story of the poet Cervantes is intwined with his
visions as his creation, Don Quixote. And it is those
visions, mingled with the reality of his trial by the
Spanish Inquisition, that make up the story of Man of
La Mancha. Known most famously for its song “The
Impossible Dream”, I think that this show will be
exciting and challenging to work on.
